ForeRunner VMA-200 ATM VME Bus Adapter

The VMA-200 ATM VME bus adaptor brings ATM connectivity to Silicon Graphics workstations. Based on the international asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) standard, the VMA-200 is designed to meet the local area networking needs of high speed data and distributed multimedia applications. The adaptor provides switched virtual circuits to ATM switches, including the ForeRunner ASX-200 switches, via fiber-optic cable. The adaptor supports high-quality image, full-motion video, CD-quality audio and high-speed data communications.
